DBT Training Team

Learning DBT is not easy. Doing DBT is even harder. Don't do it alone!

Why Do I Need a DBT Team?

Doing DBT in isolation isn’t just difficult—it’s ineffective. A DBT consultation team keeps you sharp, supported, and aligned with the gold-standard Linehan model. It helps therapists stay motivated, refine their skills, and ensure they’re delivering DBT with fidelity to its evidence-based roots.

What Does a DBT Consultation Team Do?

  • Brings together clinicians for structured, high-level case consultation.

  • Meets biweekly for 60-90 minutes to enhance skill application and adherence.

  • Provides the essential consultation required for Behavioral Tech’s DBT Foundational and Intensive Trainings.

Many therapists have asked to join our practice for this level of consultation, and while we can’t add new practice members at this time, our consultation team offers the same expert guidance. Led by Dr. Richardson, a DBT-LBC Board Certified psychologist, this team is designed to provide deep learning, real feedback, and the experience you need to truly master DBT.

This Is the Training You’ve Been Looking For

If you’re serious about DBT and want to train with a team that upholds the highest standards, this is your opportunity. The team leader is board-certified in DBT (DBT-LBC), volunteers the DBT-LBC and has been running a training practice for adult and adolescent DBT clinicians for more than a decade.

What are the times and costs for the team?

Every other Tuesday 1:00 pm. The cost is $125 per session.
